Certified Nutritionist and Life Coach
My objective in every coaching session is to see my client grow in their understanding of the work of Jesus in their life, whether they are facing a challenge or striving towards a goal. Coaching is client led, which means the client decides what they want to talk about and what they want to work on each week. They set their own goals as I serve as an accountability partner. I pray for each client before we meet and during our sessions, trusting the Holy Spirit will give me wisdom as the coach.
Most of my coaching sessions are spent listening, but I do incorporate faith in my sessions through prayer. If my client feels comfortable I pray with them. I also, pray for them throughout the week. After our sessions I send scripture verses that pertain to what they are struggling with or working on to encourage them.
It is my goal to help each client identify distorted thoughts and beliefs they may have and replace them with God’s truth. This practice brings a renewed mind and growth in their walk with the Lord (Romans 12:2).
I believe that Jesus is God who came to earth as man to live a perfect life and die on the cross for our sins. I believe that the Holy Spirit indwells all believers and works in our lives by instructing, comforting, convicting, leading and imparting wisdom. I believe that our job while here on earth is to obey God and become more like him each day; that includes serving others and sharing our faith. My faith is everything to me. I know what the Lord saved me from and I will serve Him everyday that He gives me life to live. I pray the Lord continues to give me opportunities to serve Him and share the gift of His salvation with others.
